Hurling Helmet StandardsThe GAA in association with the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) have identified a minimum safety standard for helmets for Hurling and Camogie. Helmets for hurling and camogie players shall comprise of a head protector and an associated face protector. Helmets that conform to this standard will be clearly marked stating conformance to I.S.355:2006. In addition helmets that meet more general EU health and safety standards will also be marked CE which is the EU conformance standard.
